![]() ![]() Jeff woke up almost immediately, a strangled shout escaping his mouth just before it was muffled by the pillow. ![]() She wrinkled her nose and jabbed a finger into his kidney, her eyes narrowed. Elizabeth huffed angrily she had been hoping he would be awake. He was tucked into his sleeping bag near a small fire, his pillow held over his head like he was a small child. It was just too much for her to deal with.Įlizabeth found Jeff next to Clint, his fellow med-jack, snoring away peacefully. As she passed the still-burning bonfire, she threw the was of clothes into the raging flames without a second thought. Elizabeth trudged out of the bathrooms, closing the door and turning the lights off behind her. She knew exactly where she was going: to wake Jeff up and bug him until he gave her what she needed. She was still barefoot.Įlizabeth thought for a moment before gathering her clothes and the sopping towel up. Her red t-shirt fit comfortably on her thin frame, and her black jeans fit perfectly. She had dark circles under her electric-blue eyes, showing that she had woken up way too early. Her brown hair hung in wet curtains around her face, tangled and messy, sitting flat on her skull. These were some of the worst cramps she had ever dealt with, and there was no way in shuck she was going to wait until the sun came up to get a hold of a bottle of painkillers.Įlizabeth looked in the mirror, scrutinizing her face. She closed her blue eyes, allowing a small smile to curve across her face before she finished cleaning off and hopped out of the shower.Įlizabeth quickly toweled off and dealt with her clean pants accordingly, then changed and took a deep breath. Rhythmically drumming on her stomach and back. The young girl turned on the shower and stepped under the steaming water, sighing and placing her hands on her stomach. ![]() She was just going to burn them, Elizabeth decided. She sighed and shrugged out of her pajamas, wincing at the red stain. If a Glader needed to use the bathroom, he was just going to have to wait. Elizabeth reached out and flicked the light switch up, then locked the door to make sure nobody could get in. She opened the door quietly, and slipped inside with her clothes bunched up under one arm. She moaned as a spear of pain drove itself through her stomach and stood, not bothering to brush her long, dark hair before grabbing a change of clothes and stumbling to the bathrooms.Įlizabeth stepped carefully to avoid the boys who lay scattered around on the ground, tip toes coming down lightly on the grass until she stood in front of the bathroom, a low concrete building that sat flush up against one of the walls. Thankfully, she had woken up early enough that none of the other Gladers would notice anything different. ![]() She groaned, grabbing her abdomen and rolling out of her hammock. The minute Elizabeth woke up, she knew it was that time of the month. Remember to like, comment, follow, and request! Sorry it's so short. And I know the picture doesn't really have anything to do with the story itself, but I thought it was adorable and deserved to be shared. I had a few other requests that I had to get done and updated yet another book, but I finally got around to it. A/N: I'm SO SORRY it took so long to get this chapter out. ![]()
